SENCS Report
PDF Document
764KB
In 2003 the NCS published the SENCS Report, which was an evaluation of the experiences of survivors of abuse who had used the NCS. This study recommended that NCS clients have an opportunity to participate in service evaluation. In 2004 the NCS introduced a client evaluation system. All clients who attend for counselling are asked if they would like to be contacted in relation to evaluating the NCS. If they agree clients receive an evaluation form by post when they finish their counselling. The evaluation form is returned to a national P.O. Box Number and the results are analysed by an independent researcher. [Click the NCS client evaluation form] The SENCS report also recommended that the NCS identify areas for future research. In 2005 the NCS established a national group to consider the issue of research within the NCS and further information about the NCS Research Committee can be found in this Section.
